It is named after the Satpura Hill Range and features a wide range of habitats, from Thorny Scrub to Dry and Moist Deciduous to Semi-Evergreen, including Teak and Sal Forest. You can see a variety of wildlife in different settings when you go on a tiger safari in Satpura.

By creating pathways for tigers to travel between Bor Wildlife Sanctuary, Nagzira, and Kanha National Park, Pench is gradually recovering its standing as one of the best tiger reserves in India for tiger safaris.

Kanha National Park will host the third and last stop on your Indian tiger safari. This park spans the districts of Mandala and Kalaghat and is tucked away in Madhya Pradesh's Maikal range of Satpuras. When compared to other wildlife reserves in India, the park is a shining example of effective tourism management and conservation activities.

DETAILED ITINERARY

Day 1: Arrival in New Delhi
When you get to the New Delhi Airport, our representative will meet you. He will help you check in and make sure your transfer to the hotel goes smoothly. You will receive and be given an explanation of all your travel documents. Stay at the hotel for the night.

Day 2: New Delhi - Raipur (By flight), Raipur - Kanha (By road)
After an early breakfast, proceed to the domestic airport for your flight from New Delhi to Raipur. Our representative will meet you at Raipur Airport and take you to Kanha National Park.
It will take you approximately four hours to drive the 210 kilometers. To get a sense of Kanha, roll down your windows for the final hour of your drive through the forest. You've entered Rudyard Kipling's world. After checking into your resort, you can relax for the rest of the day.

Day 3 – 4: In Kanha National Park
Enjoy a warming drink and an early wake-up call before embarking on a morning tiger safari drive through the forest. There is a calm feeling as the sun rises over the hills and breaks through the thick sal woods. Monkeys chatter, deer graze, and small animals dart through the underbrush while the park is filled with the sounds of vibrant birds, creating a stunning spectacle.
In addition to India, Kanha Tiger Reserve is among the top areas in the world for protecting wildlife. It is impossible to believe the captivating magnificence of this park without seeing it. Listen to Kanha National Park while on a silent safari; it has a lot to say. The core of the Kanha Tiger Reserve, created in 1974 as part of Project Tiger, is made up of 940 square kilometers of rolling meadows, running streams, and sal and bamboo forests.
The difficult-to-find hardground Barasingha can only be found in the park. This is the actual Kipling country that he so eloquently detailed in The Jungle Book. A packed breakfast from the Lodge is placed on the safari vehicle's bonnet and served at a designated spot. Savor your morning meal amidst the untamed bush.
Go back to the Lodge to change and have a quick lunch. Take a moonlight tiger safari after lunch to experience what the forest has to offer.
After dusk, head back to the Lodge for dinner and relax for the remainder of the day.

Day 5: Kanha – Pench (210 Kms 4-5 Hrs drive)
Morning jeep safari to the national park. After early lunch drive to Pench National Park 210kms/ 4-5 hour drive. On arrival check into the Resort. Dinner and overnight at the resort.

Day 6 - 7: In Pench National Park
Morning and afternoon jeep safaris to the Pench National Park are planned, and the resort will host lunches and overnight accommodations. A total of 758 square kilometers are covered by the tropical dry deciduous teak forest and this tropical wet deciduous forest in Southern India. Only during specific seasons of the year are most of the region's streams and nallahs active. These streams cut through the countryside.
Even though the Pench River stops flowing at the end of April, there are still a number of water pools in the area that are called “dohs” and serve as watering holes for the many wild animals. During the pinch time, the only significant supply of water is the Pench Reservoir, which is located in the middle of the park. The watering holes along the Pench River are the greatest places to watch tigers because there is a significant concentration of prey in that area. This is a common location for tigers to prowl for their prey. Leopards are typically seen operating in the more outer sections of the forest, however they can also be spotted in the interior of the forest on occasion.
In the Pench region, cheetal and sambar are commonly seen grazing in open spaces, such as along the shorelines of reservoirs, riverbanks, and roadsides. At any time of day, jackals can be seen wandering about the park looking for food. The Reserve's Chhedia, Jamtara, Bodanala, and Pyorthadi portions are where packs of up to 15 or more wild dogs can be seen.
It is common to witness herds of gaur among bamboo forests and streams during the summer months. Sloth bears are usually found on rockier terrain, especially in woods afflicted with mahul bel. Even though they are extremely rare, Chinkaras can sometimes be found in open, non-forested areas.
