OVERVIEW NORTH INDIA SAFARI AND BIRD WATCHING TOUR
One of the most stunning, historically and culturally significant states in India is Rajasthan. Rajasthan is teeming with wildlife in addition to its breathtaking scenery. Rajasthan provides more than enough justification to rank among the best options for a Tiger Safari in India because of the abundance of national parks and sanctuaries located inside the state.
Numerous animal and bird species can be found in all national parks and wildlife sanctuaries. Some are uncommon, some distinctive, and all aesthetically beautiful. The chance to see the magnificent tigers during a tiger safari in Ranthambore National Park is a compelling reason to visit Rajasthan's wildlife reserves. Because the population of these wild cats has been declining, the government has decided to designate certain regions as wildlife reserves in order to provide a healthy and unaltered environment for their repopulation. For those who love the outdoors and want to go on a tiger safari in Rajasthan, Tiger Safari India provides a variety of customized Rajasthan tiger safari trip packages.
DETAILED ITINERARY
Day 1: Arrival in New Delhi
When you get to the New Delhi Airport, our representative will meet you. He will help you
check in and make sure your transfer to the hotel goes smoothly. You will receive and be given
an explanation of all your travel documents. Stay at the hotel for the night.
Day 2: New Delhi - Corbett (By road)
Visit Corbett National Park after enjoying a leisurely breakfast at your accommodation in New
Delhi. It takes roughly five hours to drive the 275 kilometers to the park. When you get there,
check into the Forest Lodge.
During the British Raj, the Dhikala Lodge was constructed by the English to administer and
regulate the forested area about a century ago. Their rangers needed to rest after a full day of
keeping an eye on the forest. These unique forest lodges are located in Corbett National Park.
Corbett is the only location within the National Park where lodging is available. With a view of
the Himalayan highlands, this complex is located on the banks of the Ramganga River.
Take an afternoon safari to one of India's most stunning national parks after lunch. The Lodge
exclusively serves vegetarian meals to keep any predators from smelling non-vegetarian food.
Alcohol consumption is also forbidden in the Lodge.
Return from the afternoon excursion at sunset. Accommodations and meals are offered by
Dhikala Forest Lodge.
Day 3: Corbett National Park
As the sun rises, begin your morning adventure. Corbett is the excellent definition of the country
of the Roar, Trumpet, and Song. Everyone wants to push the camera button because of Corbett's
magnificent and spectacular beauty.
An important distinction is that Corbett hosted the inauguration of Project Tiger in India. The
abundance of suitable habitat is one factor contributing to the Reserve's exceptional biodiversity.
Because the Reserve is situated on the foothills of the Central Himalayas, it is home to both
Himalayan and peninsular flora and fauna.
Dhikala for the night and food.
Day 4: Corbett National Park
Take a game drive in the park in the early morning and late afternoon. You will spend the night
and all of your meals in the Dhikala Forest Rest House.
Day 5: Corbett – Delhi (By Road)
Proceed to the exit gate of Corbett National Park after checking out of the accommodation and
enjoying breakfast and a morning wildlife drive in the Dhikala Zone. Remember to pack your
camera if you're heading out to the park gate because you might spot wildlife on the main road.
A three-night stay seems inconsequential in this nirvana.
After you leave Corbett, take a car to New Delhi. It should take you roughly five hours to
traverse the roughly 275 kilometers. Upon arrival in New Delhi, check-in your hotel. Evening at
your leisure and dinner at your hotel.
Day 6: New Delhi – Jaipur (260 Kms/5 hrs)
Post breakfast, check out of the Hotel. Drive down to Jaipur in a chauffeur-driven vehicle. You
will cover 260 km in approximately 5 hours. Arrive at your hotel in Jaipur and take the day at
leisure. Overnight stay at your hotel.
Day 7: Jaipur
Start your day by touring Amber Fort's enormous walls, which were the seat of Kacchawa clan
sovereignty until the 1700s. To enter the walls and see the Temple of Kali, the Hall of Victory,
and the Jagmandir Temple, you can choose to ride an elephant to the top of the castle.
Visit the Jantar Mantar observatory, the Hawa Mahal (Palace of the Winds), the City Palace and
Museum, and the lively bazaars in the town's ancient district after lunch to see the Pink City's
main attractions. Jaipur is well-known for its handicrafts and precious stone purchasing. After
you get back to your hotel, spend the evening as you choose.
Day 8: Jaipur – Ranthambore
The next morning, your Tiger Sight India chauffeur will drive you to Ranthambore. Check-in at
your Safari Lodge. Post lunch, head into the forest for an afternoon game drive through
Ranthambore National Park. Return to your lodge in time for dinner.
Day 9 – 10: Ranthambore
Get up early to go to the park for your morning game drive. Nestled amidst the Aravalli hills,
Ranthambore was once the hunting ground of the Jaipur Maharajas. Numerous old remains and a
dense copse of trees and scrubby undergrowth can be found scattered throughout the park. At the
mark's highest point are a stunning temple and castle.
Have a late breakfast at the lodge. Before you return to the park, you have the afternoon to
yourself.
Day 11: Ranthambore – Bharatpur
On your final safari, visit Ranthambore. When you get back to the lodge, have breakfast and
check out. Your car and driver will be ready to take you to Bharatpur.
Get there early enough to check in and have a late lunch. For an evening outing in the park,
venture out into the enviros to one of the most renowned bird sanctuaries later that day. The
Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary, sometimes called Keoladeo Ghana National Park, is home to more
than 400 different species of water birds.
Day 12: Bharatpur – Agra
Experience something new by riding a cycle rickshaw through the park with your drivernaturalist. This is a wonderfully special way to see the national park. Check out and get back to
your lodge in time for breakfast. You will be prepared to travel to Agra in your chauffeur-driven
car.
Once you've reached Agra, check into your hotel. Spend the night at the hotel.
Day 13: Agra – Delhi
The following morning, go to the Taj Mahal. This amazing monument is regarded as one of the
world's marvels. Shah Jehan, the Mughal emperor, had it constructed in the middle of the
eighteenth century as a memorial to his wife, Mumtaz. To create this magnificent mausoleum,
more than 20,000 workers from all over the world combined their skills. It is immortalized in
white Makrana marble and adorned with semi-precious stones from Tibet, China, and the Indian
Ocean, including onyx, amethyst, lapis lazuli, turquoise, jade, and crystal. Note: On Fridays, the
Taj Mahal is not open to the public.
See the Agra Fort later this afternoon. It is a red sandstone architectural wonder with walls more
than twenty meters high and a massive moat all around. Return to New Delhi in the late
afternoon. Arrive in New Delhi in the evening, then return to your hotel. Spend the night in New
Delhi.
Day 14: Delhi Onward
You can take your time today till you check out to head to the New Delhi International Airport.
To get you to the airport, our representative will pick you up at the hotel. He will also make sure
that your check-in goes smoothly so you can get on your trip home.
