The first people to discover these parks were British foresters who worked in the Central Provinces. Rudyard Kipling made a lasting literary contribution to these woodlands with his beloved novel "The Jungle Book." The book's author won the Nobel Prize in Literature for his creative efforts, which were influenced by the Bandhavgarh, Kanha, and Pench jungles. The book's author was acknowledged as its author. One of his most famous literary characters, Mowgli, was depicted as a native of these jungles and lived in the hills of Seoni, exploring them with his three closest companions, Bagheera, Baloo, and Kaa.

DETAILED ITINERARY

The chauffeur will accompany him, and an air-conditioned SUV will be waiting to transport you to your hotel. Our employees will be available to help you with a quick check-in procedure when you get at the hotel and will also supply any paperwork you need for the trip. You will spend the night at the hotel in New Delhi.

Day 2: New Delhi – Nagpur – Pench (Flight + 100 kms/2 hrs drive from the airport)
You will be taken to the airport in the morning to check in for a flight that will leave at 05:55 and arrive in Nagpur at 07:40 after breakfast, which will be served early. You can check into the lodge at the Pench National Park Post after a two-hour drive from the airport, where we will meet you. Following lunch, the travelers might take part in an afternoon jeep safari to continue their adventure to the national park. The resort offers its visitors lodging for the night as well as meals.

Day 3: In Pench National Park
Morning and afternoon jeep safaris to the Pench National Park are planned, and the resort will host lunches and overnight accommodations. A total of 758 square kilometers are covered by the tropical dry deciduous teak forest and this tropical wet deciduous forest in Southern India. Only during specific seasons of the year are most of the region's streams and nallahs active. These streams cut through the countryside.

Even though the Pench River stops flowing at the end of April, there are still a number of water pools in the area that are called “dohs” and serve as watering holes for the many wild animals. During the pinch t ime, the only significant supply of water is the Pench Reservoir, which is located in the middle of the park. The watering holes along the Pench River are the greatest places to watch tigers because there is a significant concentration of prey in that area. This is a common location for tigers to prowl for their prey. Leopards are typically seen operating in the more outer sections of the forest, however they can also be spotted in the interior of the forest on occasion.

In the Pench region, cheetal and sambar are commonly seen grazing in open spaces, such as along the shorelines of reservoirs, riverbanks, and roadsides. At any time of day, jackals can be seen wandering about the park looking for food. The Reserve's Chhedia, Jamtara, Bodanala, and Pyorthadi portions are where packs of up to 15 or more wild dogs can be seen.

It is common to witness herds of gaur among bamboo forests and streams during the summer months. Sloth bears are usually found on rockier terrain, especially in woods afflicted with mahul bel. Even though they are extremely rare, Chinkaras can sometimes be found in open, non-forested areas.

Day 4: Pench–Kanha (210 km/4-5 hour drive)
It would take you four to five hours to travel to Kanha National Park from Pench National Park, where you will arrive by morning jeep safari. Following their arrival in the park, guests can check into the Kanha resort, where they can stay overnight and have dinner.

Days 5 – 7: In Kanha National Park
After waking up around 0500 hours, you should have some tea or coffee and some cookies before going on the morning safari in the national park. The core of the Kanha Tiger Reserve, created in 1974 as part of Project Tiger, is made up of the sal and bamboo woodlands, undulating grasslands, and flowing streams of Kanha, which cover an area of over 940 square kilometers.

There is no other location on Earth where the endangered hardground Barasingha (Cervus Duvauceli Branderi) may be found. Kipling initially traveled through and wrote about this nation in great detail in his book "The Jungle Book." At a prearranged spot, passengers receive a prepackaged breakfast that has been prepared by the lodge and placed on the safari vehicle's hood. Enjoy your breakfast while taking in Kanha National Park's pristine surroundings. If you haven't already seen the elusive tiger, you should continue searching for it. In the meantime, enjoy the stunning and revitalizing surroundings. It ought to be approximately 11:30 when you return from the safari. Lunch is about to be served, so get refreshed. You must return to the resort by 6 p.m. after finishing your safari for the day. Savor a delectable dinner and stay overnight at the resort.

Day 9: In Bandhavgarh National Park
Safari in the morning and afternoon in the park. Anyhow, spend the night at the lodge. Tala, Magadhi, Khitauli, and Bandhavgarh are the three distinct core zones. These areas will be visited by you while on safari.

The fort is situated in the oldest area of Bandhavgarh National Park, known as the Tala zone. Shesh Shaiya, a revered 10th-century Vishnu figure, is a well-liked tourist attraction. Beginning near Shesh Shiya, the Charan Ganga river is the lifeblood of the park and a number of vast meadows. Additionally, there are tenth-century caves here known as Bari Gufa.

The mix of dense forest cover and grassland in the Magdhi region set it apart. There are several natural and artificial watering holes in Magdhi, such as Sukhi Patiha, Dabhadhole, Charkpwaha, and Murdhawa. In recent years, Bandhavgarh's most popular spot for tiger sightings has been Magdhi. Tiger sightings have been more common in the Khitauli zone, which is more of a dry-deciduous forest, in recent years. Since they have an abundance of food in the form of bamboo cover, the elephants are frequently spotted in the area.

Day 10 - 11: In Bandhavgarh National Park
The jeep safaris that are provided to visiting tourists in the morning and afternoon go to the national park. Bandhavgarh National Park's enormous fame is primarily due to the large number of tigers that can be found there. It was here that the famous White Tigers of Rewa were reported missing. The park may also be home to sloth bears, foxes, jackals, wild dogs, spotted deer, sambar deer, wild boar, Indian gaurs (bison), chausinghas (four-horned antelopes), leopards, blue bulls, and sloth bears. There are at least 22 different kinds of mammals and more than 250 different bird species in the park. Other animals found in Bandhavgarh include the Porcupine, the Small Indian Civet, the Ratel, the Palm Squirrel, the Lesser Bandicoot rat, the Jungle Cat, and the elusive Hyenas.

The earliest evidence of human habitation in the park can be seen in the caves excavated into the sandstone north of the fort. Some of them are from the first century B.C., and several of them contain Brahmi inscriptions on them. The fort has been ruled by numerous dynasties, including the Vakatakas starting in the third century A.D. and the Maghas starting in the first century A.D. The Chandela Kings were one of the dynasties that ruled Bandhavgarh over the years, starting at that period and continuing to the present. Bandhavgarh gradually lost all of its residents until the land was entirely covered by forest and the area was declared a royal hunting reserve.

Until 1968, when he gave it to the state to become a national park, the Maharaja of Bandhavgarh retained it as his private property. The park's creation resulted in a notable rise in animal populations as well as the cessation of illicit hunting and poaching. Specifically, the tiger population increased, and the 1986 expansion provided the extra forest acreage needed to accommodate them. There are lodging options at the resort for visitors who decide to stay overnight.

Day 12: Bandhavgarh - Jabalpur - New Delhi (by road 200 kms/4 hrs drive)
Early morning Jeep safari in the park. After lunch and safari, you will proceed to Jabalpur to board a flight back to New Delhi. Our representative will be waiting for you at the airport in New Delhi. They will guide you through the check-in process and ensure your overnight comfort. Spend the night in a New Delhi hotel.

Day 13: New Delhi – Fly back
Check out of the hotel after an enjoyable breakfast, then make your way to New Delhi International Airport to catch the flight back home.
