OVERVIEW TIGER SAFARI AND BIRD WATCHING TOUR

We provide you the opportunity to witness two of India's most famous species: the Red Panda and the Royal Bengal Tiger. We transport you from the northern Himalayan ranges to the central Indian Highlands.

There is no need to introduce the Royal Bengal Tiger, the world's most photographed animal and a perennial favorite on many people's bucket lists. Tigers abound in Central India's most picturesque park, Bandhavgarh National Park.

With more than 300 bird species—different from those at Singalila—the excursion is likely to provide you with a wealth of India's wildlife riches in a setting of unspoiled beauty.

DETAILED ITINERARY

Day 1: Arrival in New Delhi
A Tiger Sight representative will be waiting for you in the airport arrival area with a name card when you arrive at the New Delhi International Airport. The chauffeur will accompany him, and an air-conditioned SUV will be waiting to transport you to your hotel. Our employees will be available to help you with a quick check-in procedure when you get at the hotel and will also supply any paperwork you need for the trip. You will spend the night at the hotel in New Delhi.

Day 02 : New Delhi - Corbett (By road)
Visit Corbett National Park after enjoying a leisurely breakfast at your accommodation in New Delhi. It takes roughly five hours to drive the 275 kilometers to the park. When you get there, check into the Forest Lodge.
During the British Raj, the Dhikala Lodge was constructed by the English to administer and regulate the forested area about a century ago. Their rangers needed to rest after a full day of keeping an eye on the forest. These unique forest lodges are located in Corbett National Park. Corbett is the only location within the National Park where lodging is available. With a view of the Himalayan highlands, this complex is located on the banks of the Ramganga River.
Take an afternoon safari to one of India's most stunning national parks after lunch. The Lodge exclusively serves vegetarian meals to keep any predators from smelling non-vegetarian food. Alcohol consumption is also forbidden in the Lodge.
Return from the afternoon excursion at sunset. Accommodations and meals are offered by Dhikala Forest Lodge.

Day 03: Corbett National Park
As the sun rises, begin your morning adventure. Corbett is the excellent definition of the country of the Roar, Trumpet, and Song. Everyone wants to push the camera button because of Corbett's magnificent and spectacular beauty.
An important distinction is that Corbett hosted the inauguration of Project Tiger in India. The abundance of suitable habitat is one factor contributing to the Reserve's exceptional biodiversity. Because the Reserve is situated on the foothills of the Central Himalayas, it is home to both Himalayan and peninsular flora and fauna.
Dhikala for the night and food.

Day 04: Corbett National Park
Take a game drive in the park in the early morning and late afternoon. You will spend the night and all of your meals in the Dhikala Forest Rest House

Day 05: Corbett – Agra (305km/7 hrs drive)
By 8 AM, depart from the Forest Rest House. Drive 32 kilometers through the forest to leave the park. Don't bring your cameras just yet because this is the time of year when tigers, leopards, and elephants are typically spotted on this track. After packing up your belongings at the park gate, you can travel to Agra. It will take you about seven hours to drive the 390 kilometers.
Check in at the lodge when you arrive. Overnight stay and dinner at the Agra hotel.

Day 06: Agra – Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary (56 Kms/1 hr drive)
Visit the Taj Mahal at sunrise. Check out and head to Keoladeo National Park following breakfast. After checking into the hotel, have lunch, and then head to the Bharatpur Birding Sanctuary for a birdwatching trip.

Day 07: In Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary
Enjoy a birdwatching excursion to Keoladeo National Park in the early morning. Continue to Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary for evening bird watching after lunch.
50 fish species, 13 snake species, 5 lizard species, 7 amphibian and turtle species, 366 bird species, 379 flower species, and numerous more invertebrates can be found in these varied settings. The park provides the nesting ground for thousands of migrating water flows each year. Known for both resident bird nesting and migratory bird visits, especially water birds, this sanctuary is one of the world's most abundant bird habitats.

Day 08: Bharatpur – New Delhi (200 kms/4 hrs drive)
After a morning of bird watching at the Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary, travel to New Delhi. It will take you approximately 4 hours to drive the 200 kilometers. Check into the hotel in New Delhi when you get there.
Spend the night in the hotel.

Day 09: New Delhi - Jabalpur - Bandhavgarh Flight + Drive (124 miles/4 hours)
Leave the hotel after an early breakfast. Our driver will take you to the domestic terminal of the New Delhi Airport. Take a flight from New Delhi to Jabalpur. A representative from our company will meet you at the Jabalpur Airport and assist you with the quick drive to Bandhavgarh National Park in a chauffeur-driven vehicle. This 200-kilometer drive will take about four hours to complete. The last 20 kilometers before you get at Bandhavgarh National Park is where your experience truly begins. Adrenaline will be at an all-time high when the only thing visible outside the car window is a vast expanse of forest on each side of the road. Try to spot some wildlife if you can!
If this is your first time going on a wildlife safari in India, don't worry—it won't be your last. At Bandhavgarh, people often have life-altering experiences. Upon arrival, check into the resort. A night's sleep and dinner at the hotel.

Day 10 – 11: In Bandhavgarh National Park
Start your day with a revitalizing cup of tea to get ready for an early-morning tiger safari at Bandhavgarh Tiger Park. Bandhavgarh's tiger population is its main draw. Even while he is the primary focus of your trip, the park is also home to a wide range of other wild creatures, such as spotted deer, sambar deer, Indian gaurs (bison), chausinghas (four-horned antelopes), sloth bears, fox, jackals, leopards, blue bulls, and wild dogs. At least 22 different mammal species and 250 different bird species can be found in the park. The park's reptile inhabitants include cobras, kraits, vipers, rat snakes, pythons, monitor lizards, and turtles. Hanuman Langurs and Rhesus Macaques are the two primate species that call Bandhavgarh home. A night's sleep and dinner at the hotel.

Day 12: In Bandhavgarh National Park
All meals at the resort. Jeep trips to the park in the morning and evening. Bandhavgarh, the site of human activity and residence for almost two millennia, is mentioned in ancient Hindu literature (the Shiva Purana and the Narad-Panch Ratra). Sandstone caverns facing the Bandhavgarh Fort to the north are the park's oldest indications of human occupancy. Most of them date to the first century B.C. On these, Brahmi inscriptions are painted. Several Dynasties have governed the Fort, notably the Vakatakas in the third century A.D. and the Maghas in the first century A.D. Since then, Bandhavgarh has been governed by several dynasties, including the Chandela Kings.
At the moment of independence, Bandhavgarh remained the private property of the Maharaja. In 1968, he turned it into a National Park after donating it to the State. Following the park's creation, hunting and poaching were curbed, and animal populations dramatically rose. One species that flourished was the tiger. The Big Cats were given the space they needed to flourish after the forest's border was kindly expanded. Spend the night at the resort.

Day 13: Bandhavgarh - Jabalpur - New Delhi (124 miles/4 hours Drive + Flight)
After a full lunch and an early morning safari, check out of the hotel. Go to the Jabalpur Airport via car. It should take you around four hours to cover the 200 kilometers you will be traveling. Fly back to New Delhi from Jabalpur. When you get to the New Delhi Airport, you can either go to your hotel or the International Terminal to catch your next flight home.
