OVERVIEW TADOBA TIGER SAFARI TOUR
Tadoba, the oldest protected forest in Maharashtra, is a charming little jungle with stunning hilly topography on its north and west sides and the immaculate, perennial Todoba Lake in the middle. It used to be a little-known woodland that was only infrequently visited by a select few nature lovers seeking an off-the-beaten-path wilderness experience. The number of tigers and sightings has increased dramatically in recent years, and Tadoba National Park has emerged as one of the major tiger destinations.
The majority of the trees in Tadoba's dry deciduous forest are teak and bamboo, while there are also some grasslands and mixed dry woods. Particularly during the dry months, this kind of foliage makes it easier to see throughout the forest, which leads to excellent wildlife viewing. In this arid region, there are a few artificial water holes that attract wildlife throughout the hot season.

DETAILED ITINERARY
Day 1: Arrival in New Delhi
A Tiger Sight representative will be waiting for you in the airport arrival area with a name card
when you arrive at the New Delhi International Airport. The chauffeur will accompany him, and
an air-conditioned SUV will be waiting to transport you to your hotel. Our employees will be
available to help you with a quick check-in procedure when you get at the hotel and will also
supply any paperwork you need for the trip. You will spend the night at the hotel in New Delhi.
Day 02 : New Delhi – Nagpur – Tadoba (Flight + 100 kms/2-3 hrs drive from the airport)
Our representative will accompany you to the domestic airport early in the morning so you may
check in for your journey to Nagpur. A representative will receive you at the airport when you
arrive in Nagpur and transport you to Tadoba National Park. It will just take you 2-3 hours to
drive the 100 kilometers. Make sure to check into your lodge in time for lunch when you arrive.
Your naturalist will accompany you on your first game drive around Tadoba National Park this
afternoon.
One of Maharashtra's first national parks, Tadoba boasts a magnificent tiger population. Bamboo
and teak are its dominant species. It creates a corridor with Pench National Park, allowing tigers
to wander freely in plenty of room.
Day 03 - 04 : In Tadoba National Park
Take the safaris in the morning and afternoon to explore the park. Tadoba is one of the numerous
Project Tiger reserves in India and one of the biggest and oldest national parks in Maharashtra.
For spotted deer, striped hyenas, sloth bears, tigers, and wild cats, the deciduous forests provide
the ideal habitat. Tadoba's dawn is a bustling time of day as the park's daily residents come to
life. Before heading back to your lodge, you will do a complete circuit of Tadoba's habitat
because there is only one main track that runs through the whole park. Take a break and clean
up. Your evening game drive will take place in the park after lunch. Tadoba's nocturnal animals
and birds begin to come to life in the nights. Arrive at your lodge in time for dinner, then spend
the evening as you choose.
Day 05 : Tadoba – Nagpur – New Delhi (100 kms/2 hrs drive to the airport + flight)
This morning, take your final game drive to the park. Return to the resort for a brief lunch before
continuing on to Nagpur to catch a flight to New Delhi.
One of our staff will meet you when you arrive in Delhi and help you check in for your
subsequent flight.
