OVERVIEW DUDHWA TIGER SAFARI TOUR
It would be inaccurate to describe Dudhwa, which is in the northern Indian state of Uttar Pradesh, as anything other than exquisitely bio-diverse. You can call us prejudiced if you want, but after you take in and experience everything that Dudhwa has to offer, you'll see why. Billy Arjan Singh, the man who "discovered" this secret gem, brought the Park into the public eye. On the banks of the Mohana and Suheli Rivers, the Upper-Gangetic Plains are home to some of India's most stunning Terai Forests. These protected forests are made up of alluvial plains, moist deciduous forests, and evergreen forests
Dudhwa National Park's areas are what really make it fascinating. Another undiscovered gem is Katerniaghat, a Ghariyal breeding center located roughly 85 kilometers from Dudhwa. Kishanpur, another sactuary, is only 25 kilometers away. It is connected to Pilibhit Tiger Reserve and can be combined with Katerniaghat and Dudhwa to create a fantastic five-night program.
A jeep tiger safari in Dudhwa or a leisurely paddle down the river while taking in the crocodiles, winter birds, and the stunning meadows and wooded hills beyond. There are unusual species to view everywhere, which makes Dudhwa a veritable nature lover's dream.

250 kilometers. Check in at your resort when you get to Dudhwa.
Before leaving for your first afternoon safari in the National Park, have a quick lunch. Dudhwa is
a wide expanse of wilderness that is located on the border between India and Nepal, in the center
of the Terai grassland of the subcontinent. Dinner and a hotel stay for the night.
Day 03 : In Dudhwa National Park
To experience this natural beauty for the first time, go on an early morning game drive
throughout the park. Its rivers' alluvial soils and the Indo-Gangetic plains' inherent fertility give it
an unparalleled sense of lush, unadulterated beauty. This is an old forest, with Sal trees that are
more than 150 years old and reach heights of 100 feet! In addition to being a popular spot for
tigers and elephants, it is also one of the few places where the critically endangered One-horned
Indian Rhino can still be seen in its native habitat. A ride on an elephant to view rhinos in their
natural habitat will also be part of this.
After lunch, return back to your hotel to unwind before going on another afternoon game drive in
the park. After dusk, make your way back to your resort in time for supper. Spend the remainder
of the evening relaxing. meals and lodging at the lodge for the night.
Day 04 : Kishanpur National Park
Drive to the Kishanpur Wildlife Sanctuary early in the morning. From Dudhwa, this will take
about twenty-five minutes. Particularly at this stunning body of water known as Jhaadi Tal,
Kishanpur is a birder's paradise. When it becomes colder, migratory birds from all around the
northern hemisphere converge here to spend the winter. It is a serene pleasure to drive around
this lake that joins the Sharda River. Simply ascend to the top of one of the watchtowers, ideally
number one, to take in the lake's migratory bird population, crocodiles, and swamp deer.
Both tigers and leopards may ambush in this area with success. Even though there isn't much of
this sanctuary that is open to tourists, the nicest thing is that you can take in more of the
watchtowers and take pictures from the hide that was made just for that reason. Spend the night
at the Lodge.
Day 05 : Kishanpur Sanctuary – Katarniaghat (90 kms/2 hrs drive)
You will be making the two-hour drive this morning to Katarniaghat, a nearby park, which is
around 90 kilometers away. Take a picturesque boat ride into the park's boundaries to witness the
endangered Gangetic Dolphin, Gharial Crocodiles, and a variety of birds. Swamps and marshy
wetlands in Katarniaghat are perfect for birds, and during the cooler months, you can discover a
variety of migrating bird species here.
The tiger, a number of smaller cats, and reptiles like pythons, sand boas, crates, and vipers can
all be found in Katarniaghat. Go back to Dudhwa and spend the night at the Lodge.
